New book

A new book is coming out this fall that ought to make a lot of people happy (or at least the ones who are unhappy about the book I wrote):

BREWING BATTLES: THE UNITED STATES BEER INDUSTRY FROM THE COLONIAL PERIOD TO THE 21ST CENTURY

It's being published by an outfit called Algora Press, but the publisher's website doesn't have any information about the book (aside from its title).

As part of my research for my beer book, I read Mittelman's dissertation, a fine piece of work about the relationship between the liquor industry and the federal government in the late nineteenth century. I'm guessing this new book will hold up to her earlier standard.
